| From an previous employee: "The original proprietor was Gene Langan, Sr., who I believe worked for VWoA as a regional service representative before purchasing and operating the dealership in Glastonbury. He actually co-owned the dealership with his brother, who owns Langan Motorcar in the Albany/Schenectady, NY area. Gene died at a young 44 years of age around 1984, and his wife Carole inherited half ownership. She employed a Mr. Schwartz who ran the dealership from 1984 until 1991, when Gene Langan, Jr. took over management. Gene Langan, Jr. and his brother Glenn bought out their uncle several years ago and own and operate the dealership today." |
