From Charles Tupper: "Photo of Mr Frank Brill, owner of Brill Motors Ltd on Co
Rd 39A in Southampton NY in a Deserter S-1 Dune Buggy we built and sold at the
dealership. The photo was taken in the summer of 1968 (note demo 1967 Type III
Fastback in the service port). Gene Oshrin and I assembled the Deserters."
From Charles Tupper: "This was from Mr Frank Brill's office, given the Gene
Oshrin back in about 1969. I think Mr Brill used it on the split-window bus
(dealer demo) on the front where the VW emblem went)."
1968 Jacket
From Charles Tupper: "Here is a photo of my original 1968 Brill Motors Ltd.
mechanic's jacket. I was just the new car prep kid from High School and Mr Brill
got me the jacket with my name on it; he really knew how to make you feel like
you were part of the team. I have kept it all these years and I usually display
it at car shows with my 62 Sedan or my Deserter."
