This is a great set of panels, which are suitable for anything from a ratty daily driver to a museum grade "show" restoration. They truly do make a substantial difference to the look, feel, and quality of your enjoyment when driving your split windshield bus!

Don't put it off any longer, place your order TODAY!

$300- If you want a bare cab barndoor set to upholster for your microbus. Get the pockets loose, and attach them after upholstering the door panels. That's how VW did it, and you see the rivet heads on top of the upholstery:
- 4-piece kick panels
- pair of door panels with pocket holes
- pair of square cornered repro barndoor pockets
- set of rivets to attach pockets

This kit is entirely made in the U.S.A..

I have used this kit in a number of my own personal buses and know for a fact that they fit correctly. I have refined my templates a number of times over the years to ensure they are identical to the originals in fit and function.

The panels are made of a sturdy hardboard material and I have not experienced any serious warping issues, even in the soggy Pacific Northwest. I have used these panels for the last 10+ years and they hold up well. Tried & tested!

The grey paint is a water based latex paint which seems to hold up similar to the originals and was color matched off an N.O.S. panel.

The panels have a light texture to them which is as close to an original set as you're going to get.

The pockets are in house reproductions, made of ABS plastic, and are installed using rivets that are nearly identical to the originals.

There are various changes to the kick panels throughout the '50-'55 years, so please let me know which style you need when placing your order. Also, let me know if your bus is RHD or LHD.

I currently have the
- '54-'55 style with the single fuse-box below the dash. (VIN 20-069 409 through 20-117 901)
- '53 (VIN 20-041 712 through VIN 20- 069 408) style with the dual fuse-boxes on the dash and later speedo pod w/o notch by column: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_page.php?pic_id=822953
- Aug? 51 through Dec 52 (VIN ? through VIN 20-041 711) with earlier steering column bracket, earlier speedo pod with notch by column: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_page.php?pic_id=802683

As far as I know you can use the 4-piece late '51- '52 set in the '50 & earlier '51 year buses without a problem.

However, I can make the very early ('50-'51?) two piece kick panel set.
This has the large all the way across panel pus an under pod panel, instead of two squarish panels plus a center piece plus an under pod panel. Please email me if you are interested.

I also make panels for other year & model buses, feel free to email me with your specific needs.

I accept checks by mail as well as PayPal.

Please email me with any questions!
Thanks,
Clara
