Decklid Hinge plates/Hinge bracket stiffeners
A lot of people don't know that there was a stiffener on the hinge bracket of their bug, VW had these stiffeners so when you tightened the bracket you did not bend it, unknowing owners and bodyshops have removed them over the years. Mine are much nicer than the factory part, plus they fit better than the factory part. I have been making the 6061 hinge plates for a while now I just updated them with nice radius corners. You get a better price if you purchase both together.......Joe
