Genuine New Old Stock Bosch in the box Thermotime Switch for Fuel Injected 75-79 Beetle/Super Beetle/Beetle Convertible, Late 74-79 Bus and 80-83.5 Air Cooled Vanagon 2.0.
When these go bad, you can forget about starting your Fuel Injected Air Cooled VW "stone cold". Why? Because this switch, in conjunction with the ECU operates the Cold Start Valve (often called the "Fifth Injector"). This switch is used on all Bosch L-Jet (AFC) Fuel Injected models, as listed above.
These have been obsoleted by Bosch a few years ago, so they have become very hard to find. But I did happen to have a few in my stash that I had kept around for my own use. But I don't need them anymore except for the one spare I need for my 914.
Price is $95 each, which includes shipping in a Small Flat Rate Box via Priority Mail to anywhere in the US. Canadian orders - $129 via Priority Mail International (formerly known as Air Parcel Post).
