Hothead Ku, secret stash tiki shift knob! Price: $38 shipped
|
The very first of its kind of a shift knob, Hothead Ku! This is not only my most finely detailed tiki item to date, but it also features an undetectable secret stash cup inside the top!
Ku overall stands 3" tall and just over 1.75" wide so it fits really comfortable in your hand for regular use. The inside secret stash cup measures 1.25" tall and 1" wide, and easily stores up to 20 quarters as shown, or anything else you would prefer to keep hidden.
The top of the shift knob is securely held in place with nearly .75" of heavy duty threads, plus a heavy rubber O ring at the bottom which tightly secures the top to the base of the shift knob, so when it is tightened all the way down its snug and there is NO gap between both parts.
All of our custom made tiki products are made from my intricately carved originals, then precision cast, and finished here in our shop studio by hand, and each is available in a range of colors and weathered patina finishes.

THREAD SIZE SPECS:
- Hothead Ku is available in 3+ different internal thread sizes, PLEASE specify your size or year VW on your order:
-10mm threads - VWs from 1944-61'
-7mm threads - VWs from 1962-67'
-12mm threads - VWs 1968 and up
-NOTE - We can also create any thread size you need to fit for example a Hurst or Empi trigger shifter (usually 3/8 -24 UNC threads), no extra charge, just ask!
PRICING (includes usps shipping in the US only):
- $38 - Solid color, burnished black onyx
- $40 - Solid base color, with a weathered color or choice patina (please specify approximate color desired)
- $52 - Solid cold cast bronze metal, burnished finished (pictures coming shortly!)
- All of our custom made tiki products are hand made in limited quantity here in our studio daily, so orders are usually shipped 3 to 5 days after your paid order is received.
