The very popular, indestructible Lower front kick panels made out of .090" ABS plastic which never falls apart form the moisture in the air or the vinyl peels off from inside heat….might just out last your VW Bus if properly care for. Clean with plastic type cleaners like from a motorcycle shop / face shield plastic wax.
Can be painted with Krylon Fusion spray paint:
First use the included test ABS to practice on it.
Clean the ABS with rubbing alcohol to remove any mold releases and hand grease
Let them to fully dry
(if you want the best paint job, then take them to a body shop for them to Bull Dog primer and paint them with flex additive paints)
Then spray them with Krylon Fusion plastic spray paint
Let them full dry before handling & installing them…..
