"New" SOLEX/Okrasa "Tune-Up" Price: **see ad**

I have “rebuilt” about 2 dozen sets so far of the new “SOLEX 32mm” carburetors in various dual carb. kits that are currently out in the market sold by several suppliers. It appears that these carburetors are mass produced in another country and their quality control is apparently not as good as the original German makers of these carburetors. The throttleshaft bores are a bit larger than the brass throttleshafts allowing air to bypass through this area making it difficult for the tuner to properly synchronize and adjust these carbs. I also noticed that the carbs have the wrong sized venturi, wrong sized air correction jet, wrong sized main jet and finally, wrong sized air bleed jet as per Okrasa specs.
I am now offering this new service because I have noticed that all these new "Solex 32's" that I have need their throttle bores rebushed also come with the wrong jets per Okrasa specifications! Not one set that I have recieved to have this service performed had the correct jets installed from the manufacture?!? While I have never driven a car with the "new Solexes" installed, I know what it is to drive a car that HAS the correct jetting. The carburetors that I offer will have the correct jets stated above, correct “speed” venturi’s per Okrasa specs and will be rebushed with silicone bronze bushings. These carburetors are brand new and ready to install directly out of the box! No more wondering/guessing if the carbs that were supplied in your dual carb kit are going to PROPERLY meet the engines fuel demand at any given engine RPM range!
