Attention> All of San Antonio, Austin and Central Texas..
I specialize in the hard repair jobs on the Campmobiles/Type 2's....
Such as Engine overhauls on all 1.6-1.7-1.8-2.0 liter engines
that cover all the years up to the Vanagon Waterboxers.
Also tranny replacements, shifter problems, Ball Joints and
other front end and rear end repairs including complete brake system repairs.
These are the jobs that other mechanics cant do or dont want to do.
I attended VW Authorized Training schools in the early 70's, and worked for a
San Antonio VW Dealership before opening my own Import Repair Shop which I operated until 1995. Now with 40+yrs experience there are not many problems that I havent encountered.
Im retired, and I love VW's and I enjoy educating my customers. I will make sure you are completely aware of all the expenses and pitfalls of getting into one of these projects. Better yet- call me before you buy one and get some basic info as to what to look for when buying.
