While Battery disconnects are not new to the market, one that is a dedicated assembly is. Produced using highest quality materials
Our customers wanted a simple way to kill battery power on Volkswagen Beetles without removing the back seat. Many of our owners have newer radios with memory running in the background or air ride suspensions etc. that rob battery power if left connected. With the flip of the switch, the Disconnect Switch assembly cuts power to the battery while also providing fire and theft (keyed) protection for seasonal storage.
When we first started installing the disconnect switch, we were crimping our own cables because the battery cables had to be modified to be installed. We found this was not an acceptable installation from a quality perspective. And, we were hand fabricating every bracket. This was too expensive. We wanted to use high quality products at a reasonable price in the shop. No one offered what we bring to you today.
-Our bracket assembly is made custom for us in the US and is plated
-Our main cable is custom made for us in the US by a cable company
-Our boot covers are made in the US
-Our disconnects and brackets have a D slot anti rotate.
