356 B 1960-1961 Tool Kit - Hazet Price: $499, $569 w/Messko
|
This is the T5 B version of my popular 356 replacement tool kits. IMHO it’s the best reproduction T5 tool kit on the planet at this price. Incredibly accurate in texture, pattern, etc, this BLUE bag kit is for the 1960 and 1961 T5 356, be it a Roadster, Cabriolet, Coupe, or even the Karmann Hardtop 61 (Notchback). (This kit is also correct for the rare twin grill '62 roadster). Don't confuse this blue bag with the inferior blue bags being offered on that evil auction site, those bags are from China and aren't even the right size, trust me I fell for it and bought one and had to use it to potty train our puppy. Aside from the truly excellent blue bag, this complete kit include four new chrome vanadium Hazet 450N wrenches, vintage German pliers and more accurate reproduction or vintage screwdrivers. You can spend more, but you will not find a better replacement tool kit for your 1960 or 1961 B. If you insist on even more accuracy, get the upgrade (see photo) a PERFECT reproduction of the correct dual scale Messko tire gauge & leather pouch for an additional $70 ($569 vs $499). With the original tool kits in the range of $3000-$4000 or so, this kit is an absolutely great value.
Each kit contains four new German Hazet 450N double open end wrenches, sizes 8x9, 10x11,12x13, 17x19mm; vintage German pliers; new reproduction 36mm generator spanner, new reproduction 19mm speed lug wrench with the cross hatched handle like the Hazet 772/2, three deep red painted wood handled screwdrivers, combination vintage/reproduction/hand crafted: long slot, medium phillips, and stubby slot as in the original kits, new reproduction German spark plug socket and tommy bar, emergency fuse pack, new analog tire pressure gauge with vinyl pouch OR get the upgrade, a PERFECT reproduction of the dual scale Messko tire gauge with leather pouch, (choice of reddish or black leather) and a brand new exact reproduction of the blue vinyl bag with leather strap 100% correct for 1960-1961. Also includes new spare lug nut, and a new German Continental brand 356 generator/fan belt. Please note that PORSCHE shop towel not included as these are no longer available.
