Maryland, Here We Grow Again! Price: $35 per hour
|
All righty then!!!! Econo-German-Auto has moved to its new headquarters, doubling the size of our shop in Hagerstown, Maryland.
I'm John Messersmith and I'd like to thank everyone for helping to make my new VW shop--Econo-German-Auto--a success. But I'm not taking anything for granted. We just moved into our expanded location, doubling the size of our recently opened shop...All to help you get more of your classic VWs back on the road and to give you more bang-for-your-buck! Because, after all, isn't it all about having fun and getting as many-smiles-per hour as you can?!
With over 30 years of experience I can handle all of your VW needs. From simple tune-ups to brake work, rust repairs to complete paint jobs---even award winning restorations---no job is too small and no job is too tough to tackle.
Take it from a life long VW fanatic, a regular guy whose daily driver is an almost 40 year-old Bug...don't let a tight budget keep your project car gathering dust in the garage. Volksrod or old guard stock, let's get her back on the road and out cruising with your club and taking in the region's VW shows.
All mechanical service & repairs, welding & body work, are performed in house, by myself and my apprentice. All paint work is done in an EPA approved, environment friendly, downdraft spraybooth. All cars are stored indoors while awaiting completion.
VWs aren't just for guys. Gals love their special cars too! Like working on your own project? Stuck on one or more problems you just haven't handled before? I can help get you back on track without draining your wallet. If you need advice about your bug, ghia or bus, email me-- I'll be happy to answer your questions.
I have hundreds of used parts available. Complete engine building & speed shop services are available. Find the ride of your dreams, or a project you're ready to take on? Pre-purchase evaluation & inspection services available by appointment.
I also work on water-cooled German cars. If you need your VW, BMW, Porsche or Mercedes car painted, repaired or serviced, call me at 301-223-1277 . References are available upon request. As always, good luck with your projects! ----John
PS: Thanks for helping out Tim! Im glad you came on board EGA and thanks Rick, you're like a dad to me.
