Deluxe Sunroof 23 Window Volkswagen Bus in its original Chestnut Brown Sealing Wax Red Colors.
Here is your chance to own a fully restored Pressed Bumper 23 Window Deluxe Sunroof bus without waiting for 2 years to have one completed. This bus was restored with the ability to cruise down the highway and keep up with the modern day traffic. If one prefers the bus to be brought back to its 36HP state we can have this performed at no additional cost to our client. At the moment the bus is sporting a built 1915cc Motor with all the greatest internals money could buy. The drive train alone has approximately 10K spent on it. Rebuilt Transmission along with Billstein shocks for improved driving. Fully rebuilt and detailed front end. There is around 500 Miles since completion on the bus.
The pressed bumpers, deluxe bumper trim, belt line trim, vent trim are all original. They did not use aftermarket parts they polished the original parts to keep the bus with the correct parts and still establish show quality. The bus has Original Safari windows. At the moment the deluxe is riding on the correct 15" bus rims with polished original 15" Beauty Rings, painted hubcap emblems, along with new Firestone Bias Ply black wall tires 6.40 X 15.
The bus has matching glass throughout all in excellent condition. The doors are all correct on the bus including the non recessed cargo door. The doglegs are thick lipped doglegs along with its original sharp edged belly pans still in place and in great shape. The roof is excellent with no signs of any damage or rust ever. The original rear pressed bumper is assembled correctly with its correct splash pans. All parts on the bus have been painted in its correct colors. Example, dash, steering column, shifter, steering wheel, aluminum middle seat grab handle. All details to the bus have been correctly done.
The Interior has all 3 correct seats including the hard to get original Middle seat with aluminum Grab handle. The dash has no additional cuts or holes along with the correct wind up early clock. The seats have been covered by a West Coast Classics Pleated seat covers and heat seamed correct deluxe door panels with the correct pockets in the front doors. The middle divider section has the correct squared edge center tray. All early interior door handles are in place & rear seat luggage bar. All door panels are trimmed out with aluminum trim along with the correct escushions and straight slot screws.. The rear section has German Weave Carpet with cloth binding. The mohair headliner has been completed with the stayfast sunroof cover in the correct brown.
All the wiring is completely new and everything works as it should. Each parts on the bus has been gone through. The bus is a nut and bolt restoration with an open check book to be completed as it should.
