3 & 4 inch narrowed link pin front beams Price: $645 exchange

This is a narrowed 3 or 4 inch front end with shock towers for VW Volkswagen standard Beetle 1953-1965 and Karmann Ghia (not Super Beetle). We take an original OEM factory VW German beam, narrow it 3 to 4 inches and install Swayaway style adjusters for a desired ride height. Weld in adjuster allow 3 inches of adjustment, up or down. The shock towers are then modified using a lowered balljoint shock. This beam requires no modification to the body. Our spindles are reamed and bushed with new king and link pins in the USA. If you choose lower spindles and an adjustable beam, we recommend you have the adjusters installed in the 50/50 position. Half way up and half way down. If you choose the standard adjustable lowered beam with dropped spindles, your car will be on the ground and have no adjustment up. Other options include standard and lowered drum spindles or lowered disc brake spindles for specific applications. Some disc brake spindles require late model rotors, wheel bearings, thrust washers and nuts. There is no accommodation for backing plates when dropped spindle disc brakes are used. If you purchase a front disc brake kit and a front end, we will install the spindles from the kit and use the king and link pins from the beam. Front axle beams are sold exchange and there is a core charge of $150, which is refundable when you return your straight rebuildable core.
