NOS seal Type 4 damper to muffler 43 mm Price: $3

Here we have the approximately 43mm inner diameter sealing ring (VW #021 251 231B) and the matching metal tapered/conical ring (VW #021 251 233A), both NOS German. Used in both VWs and Porsches, this is used on VWs in the clamp that attaches the Type 4 tailpipe damper to the muffler. I believe that this seal is also the same one used between the Aug 1971 and later Type 3 muffler and damper also. There may also be other VW applications that I'm un-familiar with. Check the photos. The quarter is not included...
