28,685 miles. Car shifts smoothly and runs strong. The motor sounds exceptionally nice. Body panels are all straight. All glass is in great shape. The car starts right up and is ran regularly avoiding long periods of inactivity to keep the components working as they should. Meticulously restored from the ground up with partial body removal.

Items updated:
•	New rubber kit doors, windows and fenders
•	New running boards – German
•	New door panels
•	New chrome molding
•	New side view mirrors both driver & passenger
•	New tie-rods
•	Complete Tune up/spark plugs/oil change/fly wheel seal
•	New brakes
•	New tires & rims
•	New Muffler
•	New Alternator
•	Original working Sapphire IX AM radio
•	Rebuilt transmission
•	New clutch cable

All the panels are straight with no waviness and shows how well this car has been stored and cared for. This car is a stunning example and presents very well. The exterior is very nice and the red color shows the great lines of the car.

The trunk area is very nice as well as the spare tire compartment. Work done on the car at Trafton & Maier Foreign Service (503) 253-462

Museum documentation, original tools, a joy to drive. This is a wonderful example in great condition and perfect for cruising or taking to car shows. This is a great VW Bug to enjoy.

I purchased my sweet bug 12/11/2011 from her second owner, Lou Gaz.
I've had the following repairs from E & J Foreign Cars:
12/23/11
-Complete engine reseal
-New engine filter
-Oil change
5/2/12
-New front axle beam complete assembly
-New front sway bar bushings and brackets
-New front and rear shocks
-Fixed brake cyllinders
At A to Z Auto Services, Inc.:
12/03/12
-Replaced headlight
-Replace signal switch assembly
At Pep Boys I've had the following repairs:
6/6/12
-4 new tires
-Wheels balanced
2/14/13
-Fixed flat tire
-Wheels balanced

I haven't included all repairs as some are very difficult to read from the reciepts, though I have all receipts and can email scans up on request.

All repairs on the underside are complete.

Now the car is ready for rust work and a new interior. I was planning on sending it to Midwest Autosavers, but am unable to continue funding the repairs.

I want to pass the car on to a VW Beetle enthusiast.

The two issues:

We ordered a replacement for the fuel gauge, but it did not work when E & J installed. They suggested to order a used (but still working) replacement fuel gauge as opposed to a new one (which may not work). So, I keep my gas receipts and write down the mileage. At about 80 miles I re-fuel.

In the winter I end up having to rev the engine within the first 10-15 minutes or so to warm up the car.

Bonus: This car comes with 4 additional side panels!

Contact me for more pictures and information.

I am asking for $4000 cash/ OBO.

Feeler: FS/FT - 1974 Project Bug -

First, I love this car and don't necessarily need to get rid of it, but decided to post a feeler because I was curious to see if anyone might be interested in a trade for another aircooled VW project. Or, if the price is right, I might be willing to sell. Again, just seeing what's out there more than anything, and if the right deal comes along I'd strongly consider a trade or sale.

This is a 1974 VW Bug with a 1600DP engine. I recently pulled the engine to redo gaskets and seals, and redid all fuel lines. The engine runs well, and has a 34PICT3 carb. I replaced the heat exchangers with J-tubes,but still have all the necessary parts to put the exhangers back in. This car is a great project, but is road ready right now. It sits pretty low, and has an adjustable 4" narrowed beam with 2.5" drop spindles and lowered balljoints. There have also been several cosmetic modifications. It's pretty much rust-free, and I would be looking for a project that is also rust-free.

Please let me know if there are questions...thanks!

The buggy runs great. The frame and undercarriage were sandblasted and painted before the fiberglass body was installed. The rims and tires are new. The carburator was just rebuilt. The car is a lot of fun to drive. Price is negotiable.

1969 VW Bug -

So I have here my vw bug '69 up for sale. Its a 1600cc motor. Let me list some things I have for it.

Compared to a lot of bugs I see out there, mine at least has a motor and trans in it. Most I have seen don't have a motor or trans..or both.

I got my bug running for a few minutes, but since its been so long since its started it died. It needs a carb rebuild since its been sitting for a while. New distributor. New Fuel Pump (Mechanical). New Fuel Filter. I have an Empi exhaust that hasn't been mounted yet. I have a brand new "Phat Boy" exhaust that has never been mounted!! in EMPI package still. Brand new K&N Air Filter never mounted as well in package. So some goodies to come along with the bug. I have all the seats, but need to be re-upholstered. Along with interior if you wanted to, because some people don't care if there carpet.

Only thing besides that is the passengers side pan is broken from rust. to be honest the pan replacement is $200 or so. Sell the "Phat Boy" to get the money or close to it if you wanted to.

Bug is registered. CLEAN TITLE!!!

Reason why I am selling is because I need money for college like any other broke student, I have books and stuff to purchase and pay off for.

If you have any questions or would like better pics. I am pretty firm on 1800 considering i'm not in a hurry and is pretty fair after comparing to a lot of other bugs. my name is Aron and my number is (951) 5three3-7two2one. Thanks!

Don't need it, don't want it. Part it out,? I thought about it, there's some good parts here and its super straight. New pans, which I wouldn't mind having, I need the tires for rollers. Fenders look perfect, no rust anywhere. Tranny was said to be good. What you see is what you get, don't have extra parts, just what is pictured. Need gone this weekend , make offer.

1963 ‘look’ Beetle Convertible, I have made the hard decision to sell my beloved cabriolet after owning her for 10 years, she is immaculate and has wanted for nothing. She went straight through her MOT in March this year. She has an adjustable front beam and air suspension at the front so you can adjust her ride height to be high or low. As I have said, she is a 1963 ‘look’, but she is in fact a 1972 cabriolet made to look like a 1963 cabriolet, this work was carried out by a very well known and well respected porsche dealer (Francis Tuthill), the private 1963 number plate comes with the car and she has the added bonus of being tax exempt! I have an agreed value of £15,000, despite spending over £25k on her, I am looking for £13,500 or a sensible offer. The reason for sale is that I am looking to buy a house and trying to get a deposit together!

I'm selling my 1974 Super beetle. 1600 dp runs pretty good. Needs carb work, not quiet drivable but has driven recently and is registered. Had carb work done and now it doesn't run right. Need to sell, moving.

Not much rust, some amateur bondo done on either side of back window. Pan has some rust. Car is spray painted, was blue now yellow/tan/sand color with blue interior. Steering wheel has been broken as seen but will include a better steering wheel, maybe a grant even. Motor runs strong, got the carb rebuilt and now its not tuned right. Contact for me details.

Not salvaged. Packed up the pink slip will be sold with a paperless transfer form and a bill of sale.

Make offer, blue books for a lot more than 2k.

1974 Standard Beetle -

I have decided to sell my daily driver. I bought this bug in 2009 and dragged it out of someone's back yard. It had never been in an accident, no body damage, missing all the interior, gas tank, engine, all windows shot out, no bumpers or supports, dry rotted tires, rusted wheels, no spare, trashed dash, but clear title. Well, did not pay much for it, but have spent the last four years making it better and there is still more wowk needed, but it is reliable, fun to drive, and an excellent daily driver. I have only driven it about 8000 miles since putting the present engine in it two years ago and since 2009, car only has 10,500 miles. It has current tags, current safety inspection and clear Texas title, in my name. In 2010, the poor bug was hit twice in the rear end and one time, pushed me into a car, which was in front of me, causing damage to the German fenders and hood. New hood and fenders installed. , No bondo fix. In April,2013 was sitting outside before putting it up for the night and we got hit with the worse hail storm in the history of our city, causing 39 dents in the bug, no broken glass. This has been fixed as it was insured. In fact, just got it back from the paint shop two weeks ago,. So, it should have an excellent $2000 paint job, once the paint shop redo their work. I will only accept an excellent professional paint job, which the car had, before the hail storm. Okay, why $2000 ? Selling without the 2007cc engine, otherwise the car is complete and comes with NEW and needed complete front to rear both sides floor pans with the sales price. Battery and starter are still under warranty. Transmission is the original one working good, with the freeway flyer gears. The list of what new parts have been installed by me is endless and all systems on this car have been gone through to make it 100% reliable to be driven anywhere, any distance, day or night or in the rain, whatever. It is this good! Options : If you want the 2007cc excellent engine, which is currently in this car, it has only 8000 miles on it and performs perfectly. Gets 25 mph on regular gasoline. Add $4000 to that $2000 = $6000. The engine, cost $6000 and you cannot match it for only $4000, even if you build your own engines. First class with lots of Berg Enterprises parts or German or Brazil made parts. Real 40mm IDF Webers, from Spain. Great low sound and plenty of low end power. Great in stop and go traffic of on the highway. Used very little oil. Second option: Next option : Rebuilt 1600cc single port engine with new exhaust, new alternator, lots of new parts, adds $1500 and total is only $3500 for complete car with no waranty on engine, but its rebuilt properly and runs great, est. at 60 hp, due to electronic distributor and tuned exhaust. Any choices gives you a dependable car for daily use. Car has disc brakes, dechromed body, one piece windows, new stereo ( still in sealed box) one piece fiberglass dash, good tires and chrome wheels from Brazil, not China . All the glass was replaced, and there are no cracks , no chips in windshield. I reworked all the suspension , the entire brake system, had the speedo rebuilt, gas gauge works perfect, car handles good over pot holes. Stock height. New running boards, this month, new fender webbing and reworked bumpers. Put the single port engine in it and you need nothing else to drive it every day and get good gas mileage at 60 mph. Or continue on the restoration and the bug only goes up in value. New front right fender replaced due to hail damage on last repairs. Hood and all fenders were replaced back in 2010, along with deck lid. Door locks work good, keyed different, but lock good. Inspected in Jan,,2013. Oh, I put on 1973 inner panels after the two accidents and that explains the 1973 bumpers and supports. Included in the $2000 price is new floor pan parts for both sides and rear seats and seat support.
