First sustained grade I've driven with this bus. It performed great, not hot at all. Lowest speed was 37 MPH in 3rd gear, light load (just me and some camp gear). This was a 7% grade (climb 7 feet for every 100 feet of travel).

There was still room for more power, but I chose to take it easy as this was my first real trip. Within the next few weeks, I was driving this bus between 65 and 70 MPH on my daily 22 mile commute to work. I am really impressed with the fuel injection. I will likely build a 2.0 L FI engine for my 1973 bus, too.
