The white one came from a 1971 Brazilian "Fusca"; I know one of the chromes is for a 64-67; But the other?; 68-72? I doubt it.

Did this just taking off.

This is why you listen to the book, VZ grinds need 1.1 rockers, not 1.4's

Also these should've been redone, costly mistake though.

Brazillian Schadek Aftermarket 1966-1967 Turn Signal Switch Detail Pics
glutamodo
Going through some detail photos I'd been meaning to post and found these.

Last year or two, there have been a lot of these 113 953 517C Schadek switches showing up for sale on eBay. Someone must have found a pallet of them stashed in a warehouse somewhere or something. Anyway, I bought one just to see how good of quality it was, as the only Schadek parts I've seen previously were oil pumps.

Paint finish was an odd texture, but looks durable. The cancelling tabs are plastic, but seem well made. The headlight flasher button looked good too. The hold-down screw setup seems identical to VDO original, complete with a slotted screw. Proabably a decent switch if you don't care about originality, and were able to get it without bidding the price up too much. One of 5 total detail photos posted.

Mid 60s Original Magura Fuel Sending Units
glutamodo
Comparing two Magura fuel tank sending units for 62-67 Bugs. Maguras origianally used a dampner cylinder to help prevent needle bounce. Later on they would drop this. The earlier one also uses a different type of plastic bump-stop to prevent the float from hitting the tank. One of two detail comparison pics for the Gallery for anyone who is interested.
