I was going through some of my old stuff and found these N.O.S. ghia or Porsche striker plates. They had crumbled to the point of being unusable. Its trippy how soft the inner stuff actually is. You can put your fingernail right into it.

Can I slide this pvc tube over the clutch cable tube and run it up to the clutch pedal? I only want to do this until I can find a new tube to install. Will it work in the time being?
