Couple of local-driving shots with the Creeky Bug... Stock Steve
Did a little bit of pleasant local driving with the Creeky '69 Bug, on Sunday evening, July 2nd, 2017, following installation of the new set of sneaks... First was a photo-op in downtown Guilford, CT, in front of historic Page's Hardware Store, and then a stop for some gas at the Leetes Island Road Mobil right by the highway, in Branford, CT... New sneakers changeover for the Creeky Bug... Stock Steve
This past Sunday, July 2nd, 2017, I finally had my new wheels & tires setup all together, such that I could do the new sneakers changeover for the Creeky '69 Bug. What were on there were some refinished 14" Minilite-style Western alloys, with some fat BFG radials. The new setup are a set of 4.5" wide, ET46 refinished OEM VW wheels (powdercoated red), a set of "Deano's Smoothie Rings" (powdercoated white), some "Taiwan special" chrome dome hub caps, and some 6.00x15 "Royalton" wide whites, purchased from Lucas Automotive in Long Beach, CA (plus, expert mounting & balancing by my favorite local garage, Stony Creek Auto in Branford, CT). Enjoying the change! View other images: From Stock Steve In Bug - Convertible Search Forums for photo

AC Duct wauchop
Here is my AC duct solution. I made a pattern for my wife to sew. I installed snaps around the center vent and more to the headliner above the front seats. we put in only two slits for the front seats but two more could be added for the center seats. Works quite well delivering cool air to the front at 2nd or 3rd fan speed, so much quieter View other images: From wauchop In Vanagon/Eurovan - All Search Forums for photo
