The car had a lot of bad work done to it in the past
but most of it will do for now.
I'm gonna slam it on a narrowed beam and redo
the brakes, feullines and stuff like that.

Center Console

Just finished this and put it in. Console cut from 3/4" MDF, cupholders sprayed with rubber undercoating and cork from dollar store coasters was installed in the bottom. Rubber insulation was nailed in chiselled slots for support in the cupholders, and the entire console (and shift boot) was covered/made from black upholstry tweed fabric. The final touch is a leopardwood top finished with razorblade and steel wool sanding and a cutting-board oil finish. Total project cost: ~ 25 bucks (Probably would've cost more like 40 if I hadn't already had some of the stuff/gotten some for free).
Oh-and the two Dr Pepper cans make a nice touch.
