Oval Sighting on Interstate 5, California

I saw this nice looking hardtop bug being transported today. It was near Bakersfield on I-5. Whose is it????
Looks like the shipper was taking good care of it.

15 years to build this German street rod.

This car was painted in my garage by myslef one piece at a time. It took 3 addtional years of assembly before the car was finished. I spent 15 years building this car and now it just sits in the garage. I wsh I would have restored it to stock. 150 hp and it scares me to drive it. I'm used to driving VW's, not rockets.
