Auxililary Battery Venting Posted: Sat Aug 01, 2015 7:33 pm     Views: 23      Rating: Not rated

The venting for the battery in a Vanagon seems a little silly.

Why is there a big hole in the wheel well where water/dirt/road debris can go in there, just making a great place for rust?

You can see the rust around ours, and you can see the paper hose in the upper left corner of the picture.

Surely someone has a good idea how to close that up but still get the needed ventilation?
