| So, a few weeks ago, my friend was lamenting the fact that his daughter wanted to have an old VW bus as a first car but the prices have skyrocketed out of reach, so I, being a former VW nut, started looking on Craigslist (big mistake!) to see if I could find him a deal when I immediately ran across this 1958 beauty for sale. My first thought was, "Cool car!", then "Hey wait, that looks familiar. . ." The upper picture is one we've had displayed in our house for over 2 decades. It's my son at age 2, taken right before I sold the car in 1994 (22 years ago). The lower picture is my son now (a senior in college), taken right after I bought the car back last week, lol. The bug bites again! |
