So....I buy two 1968 Karmann Ghia convertibles this week, around 900 miles apart.

The red one's CL photos showed it sitting happy with a tarp next to it. But when I got there, it looked like it was in an igloo and I had to dig it out.

The black one I was told "rolls" and they would help me load it onto my trailer. When I got there, it turned out the brakes were frozen from the handbrake being left on for over a decade...facing nose-in on a long driveway on the side of a mountain...with the one lane road on a 45 degree angle. FUN!! But NO rot holes or bondo and original paint, despite the bad top and floors.
