Per Bill Silvestri's article in the February 2001 DKF newsletter (that I was able to locate online via a google search), there were 15 split window Beetles mustered here (what do you know, I finally counted them for myself, and Bill was correct; and as I recall, this "record gathering" was eclipsed by one car for a total of 16, a couple of months later, at the "Connecticut Bug-A-Fair" event in Terryville, CT)... |
