Air Shocks Posted: Sat Aug 23, 2008 4:57 pm     Views: 323      Rating: Not rated

I lowered the tailend of my 66' Bug and was thinking it may be to low. I remembered JC Whitney selling air shocks for VW's. I checked their catalog and the catalog said 69' up. So wondering why they would be so different for a 66' I ordered a pair. Well, they bolted on and so far so good. Now I have not tried them on the street yet, so maybe there will be a problem. They did raise the backend 1 1/2" at 80psi. They say minum of 25psi and max of 200psi.
