Mytool acquisition in 2009. A hard-bearing Pro-Balance SWH 2000. The company Stewart-Warner has changed name to Pro-Balance. This is how new-age dynamic balancers are made now hooked up to computers. It costs a pretty penny even in the used market $18,000...$36,000 NEW. The columns can support 2000 lbs.
The machine also came w/ an expensive Enhanced Digital computer. It takes about 15 seconds to get a read on the unbalance..simulataneously done for LEFT or RIGHT column. Just spin it and after 15 seconds you get the read in how much unbalance and where exactly (degrees) the heavy spot. This ProBalance is fully operational now and my main balancer.
Notice the other blue machine on left upper corner, that is a Stewart Warner 2000 analog balancer. I also bought it to add to the collection. Very good machines! Love them so. |
