This package tray was included with the one owner 1966 squareback purchase. The material is exactly like VW headliner material, particle board frame, fabric has been stapled onto board. Trap door open with type 1 VW handle. Inside the car there was wood trimmed with plastic bolted below the back windows. It doesn't look homemade - and who would use headliner material?
I saw very similar Type 1 package trays in Europe this past summer behind rear seats.
Should there be any other panel to connect to the backseat? Where did this guys come from??? |
