Ok so i finally got em close, sync is the same timing is all set.
but now under load it sputters and coughs :(

Sounds like the mechanical advance is stuck, and needs to be lubed and freed up. To check it, remove the cap, and rotate the rotor, release it. It should snap back smoothly and quickly, if not the dizzy needs a rebuild. :shock: I hope this helps.

I don't mean to hijack, but anyone know about jetting these dual carbs? The air correction jets in mine are 240's and another set is 120's. 120 seems right, but just wondering what the 240's are doing. I have a stock 1600 d/p.
