I have searched but no direct links to what Im looking for, which is a repro front bumper. The one I have would cost too much to repair so I have to go repro. WolfburgWest doesnt stock them Wolfgang doesnt sell them.Who carries them? and where can I buy one here in the states? Thanks. |

I know, but what I meant to say is they are out of stock and have been. So I need another source to buy them ASAP to send out to get them painted along with my Kombi. |

I bought a repo front and rear bumper from wolfsburg west last year. The rear came with a big dent in it and the front didnt fit correctly and I couldent open my front doors. I had to hammer and shape it to fit. |

Tried them but they to are out of stock. I spoke with the guys at WW and they said they will not be carrying the bumpers until sometime next year. I guess they weren't happy with the stuff the were getting from Brazil. So my search continues :-({|= |

I've heard the same thing about problems fitting the front.
My friend Erik spent a bunch of time and only could get the bumper to fit with a huge "smile" in it. |

Well, there's always the option of buying a used OG one. Then, restoring it. There are a couple in the classifieds right now. |

I saw the one Lind has for sale but it's a pointed one which would go perfect with the pointed rear bumper that I have BUT that one needs some dents to be hammered out and besides the last time I went to Pomona I scored on a perfect slash U.S. spec rear bumper for 125.00 it even came with a tow hitch bar. I have two front U.S. spec bumpers right now, one with the deluxe trim and one without they both need a little work or would be good for daily drivers as is. I guess it looks like Im gonna have to take one to the bumper shop and get a quote on how much to fix. |

Yeap, that's what I am doing right now with my rear bumper. But, it will be nice when it's done. |
