Anyone here going to San Felipe for the SCORE 250 at the end of the month?

I'm going,

but I haven't been before. I hear it a great race with lots of action on the course, and fun times in town.

Are you going with a team/racer? What class?

Where are you staying? In town? Figuring it out when you get there?

Just going to watch,and maybe do a little playing with a baja bug.

My parents own a house just outside of town, so my wife and I will be staying there.

There are a couple other forum members heading down that I know of.

Im gonna be there possibly pitting for a new 5-16 # 578, Im not positive on pitting but I will be there for sure probably Thursday night..

did i understand that correctly??
the classes go down instead of up ??

my basic baja could be a class 3
with a few modifications, like seat belts
and a fire putter outer??

i'll go with a few hundred dollar buget
instead of a several thousand dollar one.

baja bugs are: class 5 and class 11

VW based rails are: class 1/2 and class 9

Ill be leaving for San Felipe in a couple of hours, If anyone is going I will be chaseing for # 502 during the race, and I will propbably be at #578 pit most of the weekend, If you come across us Stop in for a beer..
