I didnt actually get a kit just individual parts to convert it over to a alternator. Its a 12v 61 Beetle.
Does anyone have a scanned set of instructions available? I also heard to be aware about the generator light in the speedometer that If it goes out it wont charge. Is this true? |

| I went and had the alternator put in. It wasnt soo bad. At least now its right around 13.5 - 14 volts. With the generator it would go up to 15-16 volts and that was with a new regulator. |
