I have seen these tires on several cars and buses in the mags lately. They have been from all over-UK, GER, US. I have tried Coker with no luck. And done extensive searching both here and on the web with no results. Are these tires maybe only made in EU? Anybody have a source in the US? Thanks. |

Randy- I actually tried tirerack also. The tires I am looking for are Firestones. The f560 is a discontinued model (at least in the US) although some sizes are reproed by Coker. Apparently either someone is redoing them or there is stash somewhere. |

I've got a set of Firestone 5.60s on my sunroof Beetle. I bought them from a local Discount Tires. These have the wide 2 3/4-inch whitesides unlike the Denman with only 2 1/4-inch sidewalls. But I also bought my tires waaay back in 96. |

Coker tire? They brand several old style tires with the original manufaturer's name. My brother inlaw is an engineer for B/F USA and I thought I might score a set but it is only a 'rights to the name use' agreement - the Coker tires are not actually made by Bridgestone or Firestone, just branded for nostalgia's sake. They look good though. |

Well, I have tried Coker, Firestone(US), Tirerack, Google etc.. with no luck. Every one I talk to says noone makes them. But I keep seeing them. And thanks any way, but I'm not looking for whitewalls and the F560 is the model of the tire not the size. philip1-when did you buy yours and can you tell me where they were made? It should say on the sidewall. Thanks[/b] |
