Hi there is there anyone that can tell me the stock tyres of a type 3's circumference or at least the height ratio? Want to work out my speedo error with new tyres but only have 165R15 to work with...

Here you go. It will even figure out the speedo error for you. Put in your stock tires as 165/80-15:

Thanks a lot. I acually have a calc myself but it was just the 80 ratio that I was not sure about. I'm acually doing a fuel consumption calc for type III's with other than standard tyres..... Would that be something someone would like to use? It will work in speedo error because of tyres and spit out mpg, k/l, l/100km and range.... let me know if i should make the effort

The original tires on a T-3 were 600-15 bias ply. It wasnt until the late '60's that radials were even offered, and then they were 165SR15.
