I saw this for sale for $3000.
Anyone think this car is worth the $$$ ?
any help appreciated, I have no idea
what to look for in 944 porsches that
would tell me if it is worth it or a money pit...

Has the clutch been replaced yet?

That is a pretty fair price. How many miles does it have on it?
My brother got his 944 with under 100,000 for 3500.

Try to find out the maintenance report on the car, because it is very expensive for 944s and they have a few major jobs around 60000 miles that need to be done. I think the clutch replacement is like 28 hours worth of work which ads up to quite a bit of money.

What John said ... my favorite brand, definitely not my favorite model...

28 hours for a clutch? That is just nuts! My single cab took 4 hours and that is becuase I had to drive 1.5 hours each way to pick it up...
