I want to connect a a oil pressure guage to a stock 6volt 1959 beetle.

-what brands work? (please indicate if they are available new or only as used) do they complete with a sending unit?

-how do they mount...do i need a special sending unit?

-where does the sending unit mount?

I'm pretty sure the water temp gauge will be pretty hard to hook up.

VDO makes great gauges. Usually you can get sets that come with all the sending units, as well as instructions. I've seen 6v gauges before, so they're out there...
