| It seems that after I go play in the mud(more than once I'll be in deep mud/water holes) that my front wheel bearings are hurting. I have to take them out, clean them, and repack. Are there sealed bearings out there that can resist eliments or do I just need to check my bearings after every outing. |

| I haven't yet heard of sealed bearings... pretty hard to seal rotating moving parts. I know in my Bronco I had to repack them every time I stuffed it into a bog. Seems as per usual in 4x4ing. |

| I'm not aware of any seals for the VW. You might try some waterfroof marine type grease for boat trailor wheels |
