Today I parted out a 58 dd panel and behind the front seat was a wide 5 wheel. It looked a little big so I measured it and it is 17.5, it is stamped 12/13/38 !
The inner wheel is riveted to the outer. Any info on this? At the same place a few years ago a freind found a kdf engine in an early 60s bug. |

I will be going back out there to get the bumpers off the panel. They look a little like bice bumpers but more hardcore, they make bice bumpers look like girly bumpers! I think I will use them on my single for the summer.
I will look for more of these wheels, it would be great to know what they are. Also in the cab there were two funky hubcaps, I am not sure what the story is with them. I will try to get some photos up. |

Hey Benjamin.. Have you measured across the lugnut holes to see if it is 5x205..? It looks a bit on the big side I think.. :-k |

The distance between holes center to center is 1.25'' larger than my bus wheels. |

I wonder what it is then? We may never know. Funny it was in a bus spare tire well. |
