| Hiya Group, Has anyone used a Porsche 924 rack(non-power) on a linkpin beam?? Is this a way to go or is there something better(more economical?) Or, are rack setups pricey :?: Just phishing 4 ideas. Thanx, Ol' John 8) |

anything can be done. it all depends on how much money you are going to spend on the rack and how easily you can fabricate new tie rods and a rack mount.
cheap heavy duty off-road racks can be found for $100-$150 while expensive ones are about $300, the mounts are generally in the $15 range, tie rod sets are about $50 with ends, and if you are running stock spindles, you will need to have them reamed for a stronger tie rod end. take those prices into consideration as well as time and money involved in fabrication before you buy any porsche rack. |
