Hello, My horn hasn't been working and today I tried to figure out why. The horn works but there is a problem with the ground wire somewhere between the horn and the steering wheel. I can't really figure out where to go from here. When I take the shroud out from the steering wheel, it gets pretty overwhelming and I can't even figure out how the wire gets to the steering wheel. The weird thing is that the wire coming from the ground is brown and I can't find any fully brown wire in the part connected to the steering wheel. Any and all help very appreciated. Thanks, Jason

There should be a brown wire down at the base where the steering wheel shaft connects to itself (I don't know what to call it). just look at the base there should be a brown wire, if you can't find the wire look for the spade connections on the bottom of each shaft. I couldn't get mine to work so I just put in a $13.00 airhorn.

My horn failed due to a worn slipring on the bottom of the steering wheel. A solder/patch/repair didn't fix the worn dead spot for long. But last month another wheel @ the wrecking yard provided a good slipring ass'y (it just pried out and installed easily, too. Now my horn toots w/ the wheel in any position.
