Anyone use Bugauto's empi brand rebuilt cv axles for 110 bucks? They seem reasoanble but is the quality there? Application is 69 IRS tranmission in a bus..

New CV Joint kits w/boots should cost about $30.00 each so a whole axle will cost $60.00 plus maybe $5.00 for the proper Moly-CV Grease.
That's $45.00 per axle X 2 ($90.00) to have shiney repainted used axle shafts !
Bet you can clean and repaint your own axles for a heck of a lot less that $90.00 and have left over beer money for the next couple of months.
If you can handle removing the axles then you can handle installing CV joints & packing them with grease ! |
