An update for anyone who wants to know. I decided to go ahead with the bfgoodrichs MT's. I got 215 75r15. They had to be ordered and are going on the baja first thing in the morning. The rears have a little ways to go before replacing, but I would like to put new Goodrich's on the back too. Even if they are a bit pricey, I like them for tires and really like the tread. Plus I figure on a light car like a baja they should last quite a while compared to a large 4x4 anyway. Thanks for everyones help. i think they will be just what I am looking for, but I will wait to see how they turn out tomorrow to get too excited. They were a little pricey, but by the time I got the 7x15's shipped it would only be like $15 more a tire to go with the BFG's. I'll post updates tomorrow on how they turn out for anyone who may be trying to make a similar decision. Take care.

Got them installed yesterday morning. I really like them. They are a good fit and look great. They look a little more proportionate as they are a tiny bit wider. They also look great with the aggresive tread pattern and the added bonus of mathing the rear tires as well. Thanks again for everyones input and hopefully this information can be beneficial to others down the road who may need a similar tire. They are LT215 75r 15 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain.

I dont think anyone is still following this thread, but here is another update for anyone curious. I just got a chance to play around offroad this evening as my wife and I headed out to the offroad park. It's been raining a ton this weekend so it was a bit muddy in some places. The tires did great. They had great traction and turned well in some pretty nasty mud. They did well climbing over rocks and creekbeds and everthing as well. Once again, very happy with the tires. They did a fantastic job.

I will definately get some pics up of the tires when I can. It was rainy and nasty yesterday and still is today. Once the weather gets better I will take some pictures of everything.

Sorry. I forgot to answer your questions about the park. We went out to Carnegie SVRA outside of Livermore. I love it there. Some people say it's not that cool, but I always have a blast out there. I went down to Hollister Hills SVRA two weeks ago and it was definately a lot larger and crazy, but the problem I had was that the trails were very narrow and some of them got ugly with no warning. We found ourselves several times in positions I did not want to be in with no place to turn around or get out of trouble. Many of the trails are on steep cliffs with no room for a mistake or mechanical failure. My cousin, an avid offroad guy, and I got a little uncomfortable several times on a few trails. Luckily, we got out of trouble ok. Not to mention that place is way out in the cuts and a long ways from anything should something break. That said, the attacked some serious terrain in Hollister. I was very impressed with my little baja. Carnegie is about 45 min from me and way less sketchy. Fun stuff.
