do you have to remove the tire completely from the rims to get the insert on - or just deflate the air out? Any help would be appreciated. |

It's been many, many, many years (like 40+) since I've used 'Portawalls".
As I recall, you just break outer bead and slip whitewall between rim and tire, then re-inflate. However, I'm not sure if the tire will have a 'bead
leak' if it's a tubeless tire. So, anybody, do you need to use inner tubes? |

Yes to the pop the outer bead and make sure all is clean. I've never had a leak w/tubeless tires. |

Had these on my car for a while, never again, they tend to wear into the sides of the tire and put a grove in the rubber. I decided to take them off and the tire shop i took it to show me how they had damaged the side walls of the tire, and one was bad enough I had to replace it. Just putting in my 2 cents worth, maybe other people have had better luck with them. One guy in my car club just put a set on,the front one tore a piece off after a short freeway drive. |
