hello
i have an 82 diesel. Need to change air intake hoses. can not find replacement.anyone??(the part goes from side vent down to comartment) |

Those are hard to come by. You might need to fabricate. While you are down there working on the intake, make sure you put a cam cover over the cam shaft under the valve cover. You can get one of those covers either off EBAY, or a junk 1.8 gas engine. It will keep the blow by from tossing oil into the intake soiling the air filter.
At high RMP's, the diesels tend to toss oil into the intake from the breather tube. That plastic cam cover will help keep oil from being sucked into the intake :shock: |
