| i just purchased chrome tube buggy bumpers for my 71 super. i have seen them mounted on street bug . i can not figure out how to mount them. if anyone can help i really appretiate it thank you. |

1. saw off front end of superbeetle at the windshield.
2. replace front end w/ one from a standard balljoint or linkpin front end beetle.
3. attach chrome tube front bumper. |

That was mean herbie, lol
I think what herbie is saying is that, that bumper is for a beam front end, if you have a super it will not work. :( There may be baja bumpers for supers available? |

I would use the original bumper brackets.
Cut off the part that bolts to the bumper, just use the part that bolts to the original location and weld it to the baja bumper.
Be sure to grind off any chrome around the weld area and cover the chrome with wet rags so you don't ruin it. |
