| I've run across a few references that suggest putting longer late model swing axles in earlier swing axle cars. I can't seem to find any detailed info on what the advantage is to doing this. It sounds like it could give a little more height to the rear with a slighty less camber. Does anyone here have more info on this? |

The longer axels have wider brake drums witch give better braking.
Also they will give a wider track and more inner fender clearence.
The type III axels will have 5 lugs, late bug will have 4 lug. |
