| I just got a 69 baja and it has a bent right side trailing arm. I got one from a buddy and the bolt pattern where it bolts to the springplate is different, are they different for certain years? The one on the car had two bolt holes on top, one in the center, and one on the bottom front. The one that I got from my buddy has two holes on the bottom and just one on the front top. Any help would be great. |

| The early IRS cars had dual spring plates, and the arms are different from later cars, I believe 1971 on up. You need to find an arm from a 1970 down car. Hope this helps, later Mitch. |

Here is a pic of a dual springplate:
Now here is a pic of my car with dual springplates and later arms. I am suprised no one noticed this before, but I only have 2 bolts holding the arm to the springplates. It has been this way for a few years now, I havent got around to putting the correct arms in. I guess if it aint broke dont fix it, I have a lot of miles on this car like this, so far no problems. Later,Mitch.
