wolfsburg west has sent me a very few questionable things over the years but in the end they always get it right and always exchange what you send back.
the only thing that can be irritating with them is they are often out of stock on parts you want and god knows when they will get them in again. if it's something I can't find somewhere else I will email ron bengry and he always emails me back the same day or the day after. and they use fed ex with tracking that comes in 1-2 days. |

I placed an online order with WW yesterday at about 3:30 in the afternoon. The order was comprised of about 8 different items. I received email confirmation this morning at 8:16 that the order had been shipped at 4:36PM the same day that I ordered it. Just a few moments ago I got another email that my order had been delivered to my home address.
That's right folks. WW processed and shipped my order in about 1 hour after receiving it and I got the order in less than 24 hours! I am in San Diego, and they are in Los Angeles...but the response time on the order is just amazing. For you guys that buy from Slow Depot on the East Coast, take the order processing time into account as well as transport time when you are calculating the overall time to receive your orders. WW rocks! |

I can't believe I have never posted in this thread...
Wolfsburg West is one of the best out there. Quality parts at decent prices (you get what you pay for) and lightning fast shipping. Like Anchovy, I have had my orders shipped same day. Although I usually order after they are closed, the order always ships the first business day.
WW is one of my top choices for parts. |

WW is the first place I check for my parts. I ordered some stuff a couple weeks ago. It arrived well packaged 2 days later.

WW is always my top of the list for parts source and constantly suggesting them to people who dont know.
i was really surprised also, based on other companies when it comes to credits for returning something. i ordered a WW production part a month ago and when i got it, i wasnt satisfied with how they made the part compared to how an original is made. i emailed them, and promptly got a reply with a return tag #, i shipped the items and within that week my card had been credited .no issues whatsoever.
thats how a business should be run! |

WW has always shipped my items on time all the time. They have some of the most professional presentation and packaging. All orders are packed well and never have I received damaged items.
Anytime I e-mail with questions I get answered same day usually within an hour or two.
WW is one of my favorites to order from. Quality, fit and finish is second to none. I have spent at least $2000 with them and placed around 6-8 orders, they have never even made me question their ability whatsoever.
You may have had a problem but I can't believe in a million years that if everything was on the up and up that WW wouldn't make it right.
I would recommend WW to anyone at any time, period. |

| Well today I got my first order from them and I gotta say the service was excellent and extremely fast. Even my running boards came in perfect condition (box took a beating, saved by great packaging). The worst part of the whole thing was waiting the weekend for Fedex to ship on the next business day  . I think this is the start of a beautiful restoration relationship |

$4000 order...every single part arrived safely.

Customer service removed items that were duplicate or they didn't think were necessary after reviewing the order..
Not many companies will save you money on your own mistakes..
Thanks WW.... |

This is exactly how a company should be run. |

Let me start by saying that WW is top notch in our industry, just like the majority of prior posts in this thread have stated. I've placed several orders there, and would order more often if they carried more late model/dual port parts. That said, I believe it is the manner in which a retailer handles problems that sets the best apart from those that are simply adequate. WW exceeds in this category, in my experience.
I ordered a steering intermediate shaft for my 71' Super, and based upon my prior experience with WW, I expected to see it fairly soon after. I tracked the package to my city of residence, and watched with frustration as the UPS truck that should have delivered the part sped past my house without stopping. To make matters worse, the tracking info stated that my package had been "delivered" to my address! When I called UPS to find out what happened, unsurprisingly, they advised me that they could not determine where it had actually been delivered until the driver returned from his route. I took a walk down the street to see if the driver had possibly left it at a neighbor's house by mistake, but no package was apparent.
Frustrated, I called WW and explained what happened. The rep to whom I spoke listened patiently to my account, then told me that something similar had happened to him when he had ordered a digital camera. Long story short, he sent out another steering shaft at no charge so I could finish my project while UPS looked for the missing package! I didn't even ask for this, but it was refreshing to receive this kind of service, especially after dealing with certain other retailers in the VW industry. (Ahem)
So what happened, you say? Well, I received the second steering shaft that WW sent quickly, and while I was outside installing it, A neighbor approached and said, "I believe this belongs to you," as she handed the box she held to me. It turns out that UPS delivered to the house six doors down the street, and my neighbor had accepted the package without reading the address label. WW sent a UPS driver to my house the next day to pick up the package, and all was well.
WW didn't have to send out another part at no charge, but they did, and I was impressed. A lot of other retailers would have made me place a separate order, pay for it, then refund the original order after they receive it. This was above and beyond my expectations, and I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

WW is about the best company I have had the pleasure of spending my money on. They have good help, quick e-mail service and perfect packing, parts receipts, etc.
There products are what parts should be. I don't mind a few extra $$ for a part that looks and performs perfectly. Bumper quality is second to none in my book. I have spent $$$ with them in the past and will spend more $$$$ with them going forward.
Make an emergency switch for a 66, that would make my day.
Keep up the good work and make a better presence on the east coast.

Hands down the best large parts reproducer/distributor. Just about everyone knows that.
That said, is anyone else having a problem with the search function on their website? No matter what I search for, I don't get any results--even making the same exact searches I did yesterday and got results for. Just wondering if it's a problem on my end or theirs. |

I noticed it wasn't working a few days ago.
It looks ok now - I just ran a few searches. |
