I would like to know if the 1960 semaphore fenders are the same as the earlier model fenders 59 and down. The same meaning the width, headlight buckets, ect. Thanks

Let me guess, you're interested in the semiphore fenders that just posted in the classifieds for $200 right? As long as the fenders have the wire tube, I think they are the same as the earlier ones.

60 fenders didn't have the wire tube's that ended in 59, but the fenders should be the same up till 60. I know that for sure I have a 60 Euro in my shop all original. No tube's and no cut out for it in the wheel well.

You can buy the wiring tubes from BFY in Orange Ca. or from some guy in Sweeden. Same price but the shipping cost from Sweeden is a bit expensive.

You can tell if your car had the wiring tubes by the three holes on either side of the spare tire tub. That would be about the middle of the tire. The middle hole is a bit bigger than the upper and lower bolt hole.

There is no tube or anything that I noticed,,,then again no holes for a direction of any type

These are reproduction fenders. They are meant for everything from 1939 to 1966. They are not the same shape as Volkswagen fenders but will "fit" your 1960, if you're not too fussy.
